High Fantasy: I Am aynebidding
Kreng wants to protect his mother and save his family from poverty. All of this changes when an Elvish warlord named Thoruba, who bears the ancient power of the Aynebidding, comes to the Orkish clans and offers them an alliance. Kreng must now go to war--a war that will pit his love for his people against his morals.
Aethel wants nothing more than to become an advocate, fighting for the poor and destitute. But when is father is killed by Thoruba, Aethel inherits the power of Aynebidding. Everyone looks to him to stop Thoruba, but there are two issues: Aethel was a cripple before receiving the power, and is still no match for Thoruba. And as an Elf, Aethel will lose a year of his life for every person that he kills.
When Kreng betrays his people and Aethel accepts a burden he never wanted, they must work together against the odds to stop Thoruba from creating an alliance with a kingdom that could destroy them all. But to do so will require working with old enemies--and being willing to sacrifice it all.

The world outside is still seeping with radiation—but endlessly beautiful. It has been 50 years since the Fall, when nuclear missiles fell from the outer space. In the chaos that ensued the nations of the Earth destroyed one another. From the ashes of the United Nations rose the Fourth Reich, which stretched its hand across what had once been Eurasia.
But some pockets of the world have been forgotten. Genesis Nakada has spent her entire life in the The Bunker, an old government facility in Haida Gwaii, northern Canada, that miraculously escaped the apocalypse—but not its effects.
When Genesis and her six friends sneak out to explore on snowmobiles, they stumble across a column of Reich soldiers heading toward The Bunker. The inhabitants of The Bunker ambush the soldiers and take some alive, capturing in the process a computer that exposes their chilling plan. The Reich is attempting to create a Supreme Race, one both immune to radiation. To do this, they will require DNA sources that have been protected from the fallout. The Reich knows of the The Bunker’s existence—and they are coming for its people. One of the soldiers, Ethan Nordstrom, tries to tell The Bunker's tribunal of a way to destroy the Reich from the inside. They don't listen.
In the dead of night, Genesis and her friends break Soldier Nordstrom from his cell. Taking as many supplies as they can carry on their snowmobiles, they set out under the Northern Lights for the Reich’s base in Anchorage. If they can reach a computer bank there and destroy the genetic coding in the Reich's system, they have a chance of ending the Reich’s aspirations for good. But when it is revealed that Nordstrom was a criminal within the Reich, they begin to doubt everything. Who can they trust? What haven't they been told? And worst of all, what if they have been wrong all along?
